Composition Usage¶
This section explain how to use the composition feature.
Warning
The composition feature is provided as a preview. It is not meant to be used in production yet. It will work provided that the following steps are followed for starting the two instances of the tutorial sample. The composition page only works in Chrome at this time.
Overview¶
The composition preview is based on the tutorial sample. It allows the output of two tutorial samples to be composed into a single output in several ways.
It is possible to switch the output from one of the tutorials to the other, as well as create a “picture in picture” composition. In “picture in picture” mode, the inputs for the background picture and the “in picture” window can be selected as either of the tutorial samples. The “in picture” window position can also be specified. Transitions between two compositions can also be specified.
Starting the composition preview¶
In order to use the composition preview, a cluster must be setup and ready as explained in the Starting a local cluster page, and the tutorial sample must be ready to be used as explained in the Local environment usage page.
