Set Up a New Cloud Environment

This section covers building a new cloud environment for your Genvid Cluster. The first time you configure a cluster usually takes about an hour. Once created, you can share the cluster with other users on your team.

Before You Begin

For running on AWS you first need an AWS account. Please note that running Genvid does not fall under the free tier, so your account must have an approved credit card. Genvid Technologies is not responsible for any billing on your account.

See the AWS documentation for more information on setting up an account.

Starting an AWS Configuration

Once you’ve created your AWS account, configure the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) on your local machine.

aws configure

See Configuring the AWS CLI on the AWS website for more information.
