Welcome, Nika Nour

We’re excited to announce that Nika Nour, formerly Executive Director of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) Foundation, has joined Genvid Holdings as Head of Partnerships. Nika has a stellar track record spearheading the IGDA Foundation’s efforts on diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on developing early pipelines and retention programs for underrepresented game developers in the video game industry. These include the partnerships with the Black in Gaming Awards and the Latinx in Gaming Conference. She also oversaw the transition of the Game Developers Conference scholarship program to an online format during the pandemic.

Nika’s long history as an industry advocate also includes stints overseeing public and federal affairs for the Entertainment Software Association and senior creative and communications roles at the Internet Association. Previously, Nika worked for the deputy director of coalitions and outreach, and minority whip, in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she also served as new media specialist for the Energy and Commerce Committee.

In her new role as Head of Partnerships at Genvid, Nika will manage relationships with game developers, publishers, platforms and IP holders, focused on producing and publishing massive interactive live events (MILEs). Nika’s experience will be invaluable to accomplishing our mission to pioneer this new form of entertainment that merges games and media.

We’re growing at our fastest pace ever, and Nika has a  track record of leadership that will help bring us to the next level as we chart a new course in interactive entertainment.
